Judges for Caterer Middle East Awards 2013 named

Caterer Middle East can exclusively reveal the judging panel for this year’s awards which are to be held at The Ritz-Carlton DIFC, on June 12.

The nominations process is due to close at on April 11 before the shortlist is passed to judges for them to select their winners.

This year’s panel includes celebrity chef Suzanne Husseini; Emirates Academy of Hospitality’s Michael Kitts; MMI’s Rebecca Sturt; National Hospitality Institute of Oman’s Rob MacLean, FooDiva founder Samantha Wood; group editor, hospitality titles, ITP’s Louise Oakley and; Caterer Middle East editor Hannah Abdulla.

Judge Rob MacLean said he was most looking forward to seeing some new names on the nominee list this year.

“It is always rewarding going through the nominations and reading the real life stories of the nominees. With more outlets opening all the time the competition is getting more intense and our job is made harder,” he added.
