Hilton searching for 1500 new staff across UAE

Hilton Hotels & Resorts is on a UAE hiring spree for 1500 jobs in Hilton properties across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah, reports Emirates 24/7.

The jobs have opened up in different departments like guest services, front office, transportation, food, beverage and culinary, engineering, maintenance and facilities, procurement, purchasing and receiving.

“Hilton Worldwide opened its 11th hotel in the UAE in February when Hilton Sharjah became the company's first hotel in Sharjah. We expect to open a further five hotels across UAE during 2013 - four in Dubai and one in Ras Al Khaimah. The scale of openings will require an extra 1,500 team members for the UAE and that figure is in addition to regular talent transfers within hotels which occur simply as part of day-to-day hotel life,” said a Hilton Hotels & Resorts spokesperson.

The additions to the group’s UAE portfolio include the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Beach; DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Al Barsha Hotel & Residences; DoubleTree by Hilton Bur Dubai; Conrad Dubai and the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah.
