Management change at RAK TDA

Victor Louis, has resigned from his position as chief operating officer of the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.

A spokesperson for RAK TDA said Louis is returning to Canada. His replacement is expected to be announced in the next quarter of 2013.

In the meantime, the position will be filled by Mohamed A Ruqait Al Ali, general manager, private sector, of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.

Ras Al Khaimah aims to welcome 1.2 million visitors in 2013, and increase its room inventory to 10,000 by 2016.
