The Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the launch of the Days Hotel Olaya in Riyadh, the first Days Inn property in Saudi Arabia.

The 56-room hotel is the first of 10 Days Inn hotels planned in KSA as part of a development agreement between Riyada International Hotels and Resorts and the Wyndham Hotel Group.

The hotel is spread across six floors and features rooms and suites in addition to meeting facilities and a restaurant.

“We are extremely excited to introduce the iconic Days Inn brand to Saudi Arabia. We are fully committed to growing our presence in the Gulf, and the opportunity within Saudi Arabia in particular is considerable,” said Eric Danziger, Wyndham Hotel Group president and chief executive officer.

“The opening of our first Days Inn hotel in Saudi Arabia further strengthens the long-standing partnership between Riyada and Wyndham Hotel Group. Both companies are well positioned to expand the brand across the country over the coming years, to the benefit of both business and leisure travellers,” said Muhammad Al Amir, founder and managing director of Riyada International Hotels and Resorts and master franchisee for Ramada hotels in the Kingdom.

Days Inn is one of the largest brands within Wyndham Hotel Group’s portfolio with over 1,820 properties worldwide. Existing Days Inn hotels in the Middle East include two hotels in Jordan and one in Bahrain.
