Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced the first Four Points by Sheraton for Saudi Arabia – Four Points by Sheraton Riyadh Khaldia.

Owned by Khaldia Towers Company, a partnership between Al Jedaie Group and Al Hokair Group, the hotel is located 20 minutes from Riyadh’s business district and 45 minutes from the King Khalid International Airport.

President Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa & Middle East, Roeland Vos said the company was “delighted” with the partnership.

“This project further underlines our commitment to continued expansion in Saudi Arabia, an important business and outbound travel destination,” he added.

The property will feature 376 guest rooms including 138 suites, all fitted with the brand’s signature Four Comfort Bed and modern bathrooms with a separate walk-in shower. The suites boast a large sitting area and separate kitchenette. The hotel will also feature a fitness centre and spa, both available later this year.

Four Points by Sheraton Riyadh Khaldia currently operates two dining venues, including Al Nakheel, the hotels all-day dining restaurant serving international cuisine and Khaldia Lounge, offering refreshments and snacks in the lobby area.

At the beginning of 2014, the hotel aims to open Panorama which will serve local flavours and offer views over Riyadh from the 26th floor.

To cater to business travellers, Four Points by Sheraton Riyadh Khaldia also offers meeting and event space, including 18 purpose-built meeting rooms and free Wi-Fi in public areas.
