DM's planning service moves online

The Planning department of Dubai Municipality has launched its entire service online from this month.

The move is part of the civic body’s Zero Visit Programme aimed at improving municipal services in all areas of its remit and achieving complete transparency in its transactions.

Eng. Dawoud AbdulRahman AlHajri, Director of Planning Department said: “From this May onwards any service related to plans, approval, application status, copies of approved plans, follow ups, approvals etc will be available online. This will save a lot of time, energy, manpower and money.

“We hope that the newly launched online service will increase customer satisfaction and boost business due to the availability of services without the need for waiting long term for approval of plans and related matters,” he added.

The DM’s web portal (www.dm.gov.ae) provides access to the planning department in addition to other general services provided by the civic body.
