Dubai Q43 Bar to seize four-star market gap

The Q43 bar planned for the Media One Hotel in Dubai’s Media City will capitalise on the “large gap in the four-star venue market”, according to director of managing company Solutions Leisure, Paul Evans.

Q43 which will open in October aims to target “normal people who can’t or won’t spend AED10,000 a table for two hours,” explained Evans to Caterer Middle East.

Evans said there were more than enough places where “you can jump in the ‘lambo’, reserve a table, spend AED10,000 and let Dubai know you own a gold card,” but not enough places where you could go out with friends more than once a week.

“There is a real lack of four-star places here,” Evans reiterated. Places that are extremely well designed with high levels of fit out that don't charge the earth simply don't exist here. We intend to change that,” he added.

Solutions Leisure is an independently owned nightlife business that has designed, owned and operated over 25 different F&B concepts over the last 15 years. It owned the only Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi Beach clubs in the world.
