Concorde Fujairah wins at culinary competition

Chefs from Concorde by Mourouj Fujairah won two gold and three bronze medals at the East Coast Culinary and Cocktail Competition.

The hotel’s demi chef de partie, Glen Redison received the gold medal in the Individual Pastry Static category for his entry ‘Dessert Symphony.’

Arabic pastry chef Mazen Saleh Darkit won first place in the Arabic Pastry Static category for his assortment of Arabic sweets.

Commis chefs Bhim Sen Gaha, Bhuban Giri and Reynold Hernandez received bronze medals in the Arabic Dish Static, Individual Fish/Seafood Static and Individual Meat/Lamb Static categories respectively.

Concorde by Mourouj Fujairah general manager Mohamed Fekry said: “We would like to extend our congratulations to the winning chefs. Taking part in regional competitions like this is an excellent venue to hone the talents of our chefs and further the quality of gastronomic experience for our guests.”

The East Coast Culinary and Cocktail Competition was held at Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort.
