GQ bar set to open in JW Marriott Marquis Dubai

Condé Nast International Restaurants, part of Condé Nast International, is due to open the GQ Bar inside the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai hotel in October, 2013.

The new venue, Condé Nast International Restaurants’ first licensed outlet in the Middle East, follows on from the recent official launch of the Vogue Café at The Dubai Mall.

The GQ Bar will be housed in a 10,700 sq ft space, set across two floors, that will offer lunch and dinner and serve contemporary cuisine created by Condé Nast International Restaurants’ chef and deputy director Gary Robinson.

JW Marriott Marquis Dubai general manager Rupprecht Queitsch said: “We are very excited to enter a partnership with GQ Bar, a world-recognised, powerful brand that will make an excellent addition to our food and beverage portfolio.

Along with local licensees, Inspired Brands, Condé Nast International Restaurants are planning to offer an environment for business and leisure to befit the tech savvy GQ reader with internet connectivity, TVs and a digital area.

GQ Bar Dubai will be the third international outlet for the brand after Moscow and Istanbul. Condé Nast International Restaurants also license Vogue Café and Tatler Club in Moscow, and will soon launch Vogue Club Bangkok and Vogue Club in Singapore.
