Marcus Dudley has become the new executive assistant manager in charge of operations at the Moevenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate, Dubai.
Dudley first joined Moevenpick Hotels and Resorts in 2011 Marcus joined Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts as director of food and beverage at the Mövenpick Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai where he was awarded the ‘Food and Beverage Manager of the Year’ at the Hotelier Middle East awards in 2012.
An Australian national with an MBA in International Business, Dudley began his career in the kitchen where he worked his way up the ranks to become the youngest executive chef at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Dudley then turned his attentions to front of house and joined Dubai’s Jumeirah Zabeel Saray hotel as the pre-opening director of food and beverage.
A passion for travel as well as food has seen Marcus work in locations across the world including Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East where he gained extensive knowledge of world global cuisine. Before arriving in Dubai, Marcus worked for the Mandarin Oriental, Hyatt and Orient Express hotel groups.
