New GM at Movenpick Hotel and Residences in Makkah

Movenpick Hotel and Residences Hajar Tower Makkah has appointed Adel Erfan as general manager of the 1200-key property.

The Egyptian national brings more than 32 years of experience to his new role. Erfan will be responsible for overseeing operations at the property, a team of 600 staff, five F&B outlets as well as recruitment, training, development, and guest satisfaction.

Previously, Erfan spent 18 years with Le Meridien Hotels before moving to Movenpick Hotels and Resorts as general manager of Movenpick Hotel Qassim in Saudi Arabia. He then moved to the Movenpick Hotel Jeddah, before his current role at Movenpick Hotel and Residences Hajar Tower.
