A.Ronai to target online customers in the UAE

Parinaaz Navdar, August 4th, 2013

UK-based company A. Ronai is hoping to increase its presence in the region through online activities, the company’s managing director, Gavin Dodd, told Hotelier Middle East.

“We are hoping to become more active online and have a presence in the market via our new website, regular newsletters and product updates. This will ensure that the right people are receiving the information they require immediately. In a fast-paced environment such as Dubai we need to ensure that we are up to date with all our avenues,” Dodd said.

Dodd also said that A Ronai will continue to expand its Genware range of catering equipment over the course of the year in addition to new tableware options from Steelite for customers.

“Stylish tableware makes a positive impression on diners with poor table presentation cited as one of the reasons guests may not return. Particularly in Dubai where standards are extremely high and competition vigorous we hope to penetrate into more and more establishments throughout the year,” he said.

A. Ronai will be showcasing its latest products at the upcoming Hotelier Middle East Great GM Debate, which will be held on September 9 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

The fourth edition of the annual networking event is expected to attract around 200 general managers from luxury, upscale and midmarket hotels across the UAE and will be themed around the topic of ‘Hospitality Leaders, Innovators and Game Changers’.

“With the expected increase in properties as well as the number of visitors to Dubai in the coming years it’s important for all related companies to stay ahead of the game, building and retaining crucial relationships with hospitality industry professionals. We very much believe in supporting the great industry that we are a part of and events as professional as this are a great way of achieving our aim,” Dodd commented.

“As part of Ronai’s development, the digital debate will surely raise its head as hoteliers consider the vast array of products and programmes available and what can best be used to enhance their guests’ booking and in-room experience,” he predicted.
