Sysco to introduce new amenities brand in MENA

Parinaaz Navdar, August 12th, 2013

Sysco Guest Supply is set to launch a new range of luxury amenities by Chinese brand Shanghai Tang, in the hospitality sector in the Middle East, business development manager Lal TR told Hotelier Middle East.

“We are launching to hotels in the region, Shanghai Tang, the contemporary chic Chinese brand which is part of Richemont Group. As one of Shanghai Tang’s most well established fragrances the Mandarin Tea Guest Collection offers an imaginative and vivacious approach to hotel toiletries with a refreshing gender neutral perfume,” he said.

Lal TR also hinted at an upcoming launch from Bvlgari, saying: “We have some interesting news from Bvlgari coming soon, setting the benchmark for luxury and elegance as always.”

“We always strive to keep the amenities market vibrant with new additions to our product and brand portfolios. We will be continuing with this effort and assure the hoteliers some exciting launches during 2013 and ahead,” he added.

Sysco Guest Supplies will be showcasing a selection of its new products at the Hotelier Middle East Great GM Debate, being held on September 9 at Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai.

The interactive forum, now in its fourth year, attracts around 200 general managers from luxury, upscale and midmarket hotels across the UAE to discuss industry issues and share best practice.

“We are where we are currently, due to the valuable trust which has been placed in us by the industry so it is important for us to listen to our valued clients regularly. We believe that the Hotelier ME Great GM Debate 2013 is an excellent venue to meet the experts in the industry and listen to their suggestions and feedback, so we can match their expectations always,” Lal commented.

The Hotelier Middle East Great GM Debate is free for GMs to attend. Visit www.hoteliermiddleeast.com/conferences for more information.
