Asia de Cuba to open in Abu Dhabi

Asia de Cuba, the Asian and Cuban cuisine concept from international restaurateur Jeffery Chodorow, is set to debut in Abu Dhabi later this year.

The restaurant, which currently operates at the trendy St. Martin’s Lane Hotel in London, Mondrian LA and Mondrian Miami, all part of the Morgans Hotel Group, will open at the new St. Regis Abu Dhabi beach club.

The Nation Rivieria Beach Club, as it is called, will also feature a seafood restaurant from an international brand, although this is yet to be announced.

St. Regis Abu Dhabi general manager Oliver Key said: “We’ll have a total of five major restaurants in the property, one being Asia de Cuba, which is a fairly well known and famous restaurant from the US.

“The beach club will be a beautiful space once its finished; it’s a great stretch of beach,” he added.

In London, the distinctive outlet features dramatic art columns, a high-energy vibe and a sharing-style menu.
