KSA's Elaf Bakkah Hotel to soft open in September

Elaf Bakkah Hotel, located in Makkah Al Mokarrama, Saudi Arabia, has announced it will soft open at the end of September.

The hotel is 1800 metres from the Holy Mosque and features 810 rooms and 32 suites which offer modern equipment and amenities.

According to a statement, the hotel expects healthy occupancy levels during the upcoming Hajj season, based on the number of advanced reservations.

Elaf Group of Companies CEO Ziyad Bin Mahfouz said: “Given the steady level of demand for high quality hotel rooms in Makkah in the months ahead, especially during Hajj, we are adding hundreds of new rooms to the market through our Elaf Bakkah Hotel.”

The hotel’s facilities include retail outlets, two restaurants, parking slots for guests, a helipad and 24 elevators.

The hotel is part of Elaf Group’s strategy to increase its number of hotel rooms in Saudi Arabia to 5000 to accommodate the increasing number of tourists in the country.
