Emirates Grand Hotel appoints new hotel manager

Dubai’s Emirates Grand Hotel has appointed Tarek Aouini as the property’s new hotel manager.

The Tunisian national brings more than 13 years’ experience and knowledge of hospitality, resort and property management to his new role.

Commenting on his appointment, Aouini said: “I am very pleased and excited with this new dynamic role and I look forward to the full support and cooperation from the team. Together, we set sights on achieving excellent results and delivering top-quality services to our clientele.”

As hotel manager Aouine will oversee all the departments of the hotel, including sales and marketing, finance, human resources, food and beverage, front of house, engineering, and housekeeping.

He will be responsible for the overall strategic planning, and setting and achieving sales targets, managing financial plans, and directing hotel operations to ensure guests’ needs are met.

Prior to joining Emirates Grand Hotel, Aouini was the director of rooms at Dusit Thani Dubai and Dusit Hotels and Resorts in Bangkok. He also served as front office manager in the pre-opening phase of three hotels - Jumeirah Vitavelli in Maldives, Media One Hotel in Dubai and Starwood Complex in Tripoli, Libya
