Day in the life: Emirates Grand's Manisha Bhatker

7:00am – Wake up and get myself prepared for the day with two major activities: personal make up and planning my tasks for the day.
8:00am – Plan my schedule of activities for the day at the spa.
9:00am – Leave for work and make my way to the metro.

9:30am – Take the handover of tasks from my colleague from the previous day.
10:00am – Check appointments for the day and make follow up calls.
10:30am – Take rounds to check if the materials are kept intact. If required, attend to walk-in customers in-between tasks. Work on distribution of tasks or work to be completed by other employees while taking appointments.

11:15am – Tea break.
11:30am – Take calls for appointments and confirm appointments. Consult customers as per their requirements for skin treatments. Recommend and sell products as per customers’ needs and receive and attend to customers’ calls.
1:00pm – Lunch break.

3:00pm– Sit with colleagues to share ideas for improvements at the spa.
4:00pm – Get refills of materials for customers for the second half of the day. Attend to customers when required.
7:00 pm – Wind up for the day by completing all my tasks.
7:30pm – Reach home, rest for a while and take a shower.

8:00pm– Check social media to catch up with friends and get updates, news, etc.
10:00pm– Head out for dinner with friends and catch up over a meal.
11:00pm– Prepare whatever I need to for the next day.
11:30pm– Go to bed.
