Dubai Furniture Manufacturing Company (DFMC) has revealed its latest King Koil bedding product, the ‘Perfect Contour’ box top, turn free mattress. Coming with a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects, the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) has recognised and approved the King Koil range for providing the user with correct posture support feature which can help to eliminate back problems.
The Perfect Contour is made from a fire retardant fabric that meets MVS-302 flammability standard, while the ‘Convoluted Foam’ adds extra surface softness by creating space for pockets of air to improve breathability, feel and comfort.
In-built 4mm border wire goes around the perimeter and is clipped to each spring on the outer edge of the unit, which helps in maintaining the alignment of the border spring and further strengthens the formation of the inner support unit. Units are supported by multi flex edge border springs, which prevent edge sagging and gives 20% additional sleeping surface.
The mattress’ “Megafoam” also ensures it is an environment friendly product by avoiding the traditional use of methylene chloride, which is banned globally as an ozone depleting substance. The King Koil Perfect Contour box top, turn free mattress is available in customisable sizes.

The Linen Manager system from Prologic First has been specifically designed to automate bedding and linen operations in hotels, casinos, hospitals, and other linen intensive industries.
With RFID technology, the system can reduce the time and effort involved in processing linen, while accounting procedures such as purchasing, receiving and order reconciliation are all made easier.
Designed to interface with the newly released flexible UHFRFID tags from Tagsys and Fujitsu, the Linen Manager system has a 4-6 foot read range and accuracy read rate of 99.9%.
By sewing or heat-sealing RFID tags into each piece of hotel linen, the Linen Manager is able to track all events through the life cycle of each item, track the date the linen item was purchased, its cost and depreciated value and also track each time an item is washed.
It also alerts the hotel when an item is a “rag-out” and pinpoints losses by floor, enabling hotels to reduce purchases of linen by knowing what, when and how much they should buy.
The system can even reduce labour costs by eliminating time consuming manual tasks, while allowing the control of linen losses through vendor accountability, improving efficiency by tracking linen closet stock levels and improving housekeeping decision making through extensive reports.
