Al Diar launches online Arabic booking engine

Al Diar Hotels has launched a new multilingual website which will allow Arabic speaking customers to book their rooms online through what they claim is the region’s first fully-fledged Arabic booking solution.

The booking engine, powered by ResNet Wold, will offer an enhanced browsing experience as well as real-time content and room reservations facilities in Arabic, and allow regional customers to search for hotel rooms and make an online booking in their mother tongue.

Al Diar Hotels director of cluster sales and marketing Fadi Ibrahim said: “The GCC has always been the primary source market for our hotels and we continue to see strong growth from the region. With more and more guests in the Arab world wanting to book online, we felt it was the right time to develop a dedicated website with online reservations capability for our Arabic speaking audience.”

“The feedback we have received so far has been great and very encouraging. We are really pleased to offer a world-class booking facility in the region’s native language,” he added.

According to ResNet World, its Arabic Internet Booking Engine offers the full functionality of its English Internet Booking Engine, allowing hotels to manage internet bookings quickly and effectively while avoiding expensive technology investments. The company’s solutions are fully customisable and features include visually appealing picture based platforms, easy to use calendar based availability functionality, 100% control over rates and inventory, 24/7 web-based back office access, automated confirmations and multi-property search capability.

Saahil Mehta, founder and managing director of ResNet World said: “It was great to work with Al Diar Hotels on our first implementation of the region’s first full-fledged Arabic booking engine. In this project we offered a turnkey solution, providing not only the Arabic booking engine, but also developing the Al Diar’s Arabic website and a bespoke online marketing program.”

“As more and more hotel guests in the Arab world want to book online and directly with the hotel, many hoteliers in the region have expressed the need for an Arabic solution and we are proud to be the first to make it available to them,” he added.
