The new parks will offer families in Dubai a wider range of outdoor activity options. The five additions will bring the total of parks and public areas in Dubai to 103, including 33 residential parks and two open beaches.

Among the highlights of the new developments is the Neighbourhood Park in Allisala and the Satwa Resevoir Park.

The 1.7 hectares-Neighbourhood Park in Allisala will consist of traditional park elements such as paved walking tracks and shaded resting chairs as well as a football pitch, a synthetic jogging track and athletic warm-up equipment.

The renovated Satwa Reservoir Park will take the place of an old park surrounding the landmark reservoir tower in the Al Satwa area. The completely redesigned 1.5 hectares-park will be the first in the Emirate of Dubai to be fully functional on only solar power.
