Internal promotions at Golden Tulip Seeb Oman

As a part of its ongoing employee development strategy, Golden Tulip Seeb Hotel, Oman has promoted three members of its management team.

Antoun Kobercy has been promoted to the position of director of rooms from his role as front office manager; Mohamed Shoeib was recently promoted to director of sales; while Mashal Abdullah Somar Al Zadjali has become the hotel’s new government affairs manager.

Golden Tulip Seeb Hotel general manager Fady Abi Khalil said: “We care to develop and improve our employees as part of our company’s strategy. Preparing each employee and executive for the next level will definitely open for them opportunities to grow within the company, as we have now 4 hotels in Oman and we are looking into expanding in the country.”

New director of rooms Antoun Kobercy joined Golden Tulip eight years ago and has held the positions of revenue and front office manager. As well as his new role Kobercy is also the assistant franchise services director for Golden Tulip MENA.

New director of sales Mohamed Shoeib joined the Golden Tulip in July 2012 and achieved a strong record of managing the sales and marketing department to boost the hotel revenue.

Shoeib has been working in the hospitality industry for 14 years across a number of renowned 5-star hotel chains since 1999.

Mashal Abdullah Somar Al Zadjali has made the move to the position of government affairs manager from his position as human resources manager.

Al Zedjali began his career at the Golden Tulip Seeb in 1995 and has been recognized throughout his career for his perseverance and efficiency in dealing with staff members and government authorities.
