Paramount Hotels & Resorts has appointed Jordanian national Noel Massoud as vice president of development in the Middle East.
Massoud will spearhead the development and launches of the group’s new hotels and resorts across key cities in the region.
Thomas van Vilet, CEO of PHR LZ-LLC, the licensee of Paramount Hotels & Resorts, praised their new addition, stating: “We are already in negotiation with developers for various projects around the world. Massoud’s appointment reflects our commitment to bring the Paramount-branded concept worldwide.”
The industry veteran brings more than 30 years of experience with previous positions at Jinan Hotels & Resorts and Emirates Palace. He joins Paramount from his latest position as CEOO of the International Hotel Consultants.

Paramount Hotels & Resorts has also appointed David Kerr as vice president technical services to develop its new hospitality sites around the world.
Prior to joining Paramount Hotels & Resorts, Kerr managed design reviews for engineering, IT and AV services, as well as Engineering and IT systems, at properties such as Yas Hotel Crown Plaza and Staybridge, Rotana and Centro,Radisson and Park Inn and HalaArjaan by Rotana.
