UK-based spa and hospitality consultancy Atlam Design Worldwide Limited is offering hotel owners and operators a free-of-charge design critique.
The aim is to help operators ensure the full potential of their spa project is gained in the space available.
Atlam Design Worldwide Limited managing director Neville Brownhill said: “Occupancy and return of investment are key to any new development. Our critique will assist in both of these areas based upon our considerable knowledge of the spa and wellness industry”.
Brownhill said that all spa concepts must take into account the same key elements including budget, locality, potential use and future expansion.
“I have yet to come across a spa design that has allowed for future expansion, and yet with correct planning this can be easily achieved at the outset,” said Brownhill.
“I cannot emphasise enough how important this is, we always hope that the business models are correct but sadly this is not always the case as they can easily underestimate the potential of the spa and its business worth,” he warned.
Atlam Design Worldwide Limited is currently developing a large scale concept which encompasses bedroom suites around a central vitality pool.
The suites are designed to allow spa treatments to take place adjoined to the accommodation, providing each suite with its own unique décor and ambience.
Atlam also offers clients an Architectural Design Package, with each project providing a full drawings package showing sections, elevations, setting out, floor falls, drainage, lighting, small power and finishes detail drawings. This package ensures a smooth transition between the initial agreed design proposal and the final implementation on site.
