New DOSM joins Dubai's Emirates Grand Hotel

Rohit Rattan has joined the team at Emirates Grand Hotel as the new director of sales and marketing.

In his role, Rattan will be accountable for leading the hotel’s sales and marketing strategies in order to maximise revenue. He will also be in charge of providing a communication scheme in dealing with client’s feedback and requirements, as well as initiating development activities for the sales and marketing team.

Rattan brings more than 14 years of extensive sales experience in the hospitality industry to his new role. Prior to joining Emirates Grand Hotel, he was the pre-opening director of sales for Rixos The Palm Dubai, and director of sales and marketing of Wafi’s hospitality division.

Rattan has previously held various sales posts working for brands such as Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, The Chedi – GHM, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, and Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas.

Commenting on Rattan’s appointment, Emirates Grand’s hotel manager Tarek Aouini said: “We are delighted to welcome Rohit as our new Director of Sales and Marketing. We look forward to his invaluable contribution to the team, given his extensive experience and commitment.
