Marriott International has announced that the Dubai Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf has officially opened its doors today.
The hotel is part of Marriott's two property Dubai development due to open this month, with the second property, the adjoining Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Al Jaddaf, set to open in the coming weeks.
Situated near to Dubai’s Royal residence, Zabeel Palace, the properties are the first in the Middle East and Africa to reflect the new brand transformation that Marriott revealed last year.
Khaled Al Jamal, general manager, Dubai Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf and Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Al Jaddaf said: “I am proud to announce that the Dubai Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf is open and I am delighted to have welcomed our first guests to this fantastic property. The hotel is currently in a soft opening phase and the Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Al Jaddaf is set to open in the coming weeks.”
The Dubai Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf has 352 rooms across eight floors with 192 Deluxe King and 107 Deluxe Double rooms, including 39 Executive Suites, two Zabeel Suites and a Presidential Suite.
Each space is designed for functionality and leisure with state-of-the-art technology, wired and wireless Internet and spacious amenities. The hotel also offers 14 meeting rooms as well as a Zabeel ballroom, which can accommodate up to a maximum of 540 persons.
The new Marriott brand voice caters to the next generation of travellers who blend work and play, demand style and substance, and require technology.
The Marriott Hotels brand currently has 16 hotels in seven countries across the Middle East and Africa, with over 5000 rooms. By 2017, there will be a further twelve properties across the region, raising the room count by nearly 3000 rooms
