DigiValet, the hospitality tech company that powers close to 4000 hotel rooms across the globe, has launched a new addition to its range of in room technology solutions that allows hotel guests to message their hotel manager directly with instant feedback on their stay.

With its latest addition guests can now inform hotel management of any problems directly from their hotel room on checking in or instantly as they occur. Hotel management will receive the messages via an instant messaging system on their own device or even via text message on their mobile phone.

SAMSUNG

Samsung has launched a new range of in-room televisions specifically designed for the hospitality industry. The Samsung HB890 Smart TV series allows quick access to content, easy multi-tasking and viewing recommendations in order to meet guests’ growing demands for connectivity.

The HB890’s design is based on the Samsung Smart Series 8 consumer TV, with the ultra-slim, displays featuring a metal frame, narrow bezel and arched stand in order to use minimal space.

In addition Samsung has also launched a remote enhanced active control for hospitality (REACH), which allows content such as property logos, hotel information and images to be updated either remotely or through USB cloning.

BARTECH

Bartech, the hotel mini-bar supplier which has products installed in more than 60 countries worldwide, has introduced a new range of glass door designs. In addition to clear glass, Bartech mini-bars are now available with glossy glass doors or frosted glass doors, with or without the hotel’s engraved logo.

All glass door units are available in black as a standard or in another colour on request. Unit capacities range from 40 to 75 litres with an unlimited quantity of ambient sections for dry products and titled eTrays. Bartech also offers an alternative range of custom wooden doors.
