Grand Hyatt Muscat appoints entertainment manager

Grand Hyatt Muscat has welcomed British national Allan Spicer as the hotel's new entertainment and club manager.

Spicer joins the team from Hamilton Union in Scotland, where he worked as bar charge hand since 2012, and has also worked at other venues such as Uncle Sam’s and Woodies Nightclub in Cyprus, and Downtown Nightclub in Scotland, where was charge hand and assistant manager.

Spicer began his career in the nightlife industry as barman at Center Point Nightclub in Eastkilbride, Scotland in 2008.

Commenting on his appointment, Grand Hyatt Muscat general manager Garry Friend, who joined the property in 2013, said: “We are happy to welcome Allan to the team and are certain that he will greatly contribute to the growing popularity of Safari Complex.”
