A Disneyland Paris attraction has been devised in consultation with French chef Paul Bocuse based on the popular animated blockbuster 'Ratatouille'.
Disneyland Paris teamed up with Bocuse, who is often considered the godfather of French gastronomy, to create a new attraction based on Rémy’s adventures through the streets of the French capital.
Bocuse's main restaurant is the three-Michelin starred l'Auberge du Pont de Collonges, near Lyon.
The attraction will be known as "Le Monde de Rémy", meaning The World of Rémy, and is scheduled to open this summer.
The ride is estimated to have cost around US $150mn to build. The 2007 comedy, which was produced by Pixar Animation Studios, told the story of a rat named Remy who wanted to become a chef and earned a massive US $623mn at the global box office.
The theme park in France is 10%-owned by Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, who injected US $350mn into parent company Euro Disney in 1994, preventing its fall into bankruptcy.
