Vida Downtown Dubai is making use of a new mobile software platform, OPERA9 Mobile, which will enhance the front and back of house operations at the hotel, and increase its overall efficiency.
Besides helping the Emaar Hospitality Group hotel improve its speed of service, increase staff efficiencies and simplify complex reservation requests, the new software is expected to also help manage its operations seamlessly.
The OPERA9 Mobile system will ease workflow at the hotel, and also strengthen its functionality by extending support to wireless devices such as smartphones and tablets.
“From the moment that our guests make their reservation to the checkout process, we ensure that with enhanced connectivity and state-of-the-art technology, their experience is nothing short of memorable," said Stefan Viard, general manager, Vida Downtown Dubai.
"The implementation of the OPERA9 Mobile system underlines our goal to provide visitors with an ‘Alive and Inspired’ hospitality experience,” he added.
With the help of the new system, the hotel will be able to enhance overall efficiency in check-in and check-out processes, profile and reservation management, signature capture, credit card swipe and authorisation, assignment and pre-allocation of rooms, key encoding, search functions, scheduled check-outs and early departures.
The software will also assist in room management and maintenance as well as attendant management and task sheets.
Vida Downtown Dubai, the flagship property under Emaar Hospitality Group’s newly-launched brand Vida Hotels and Resorts, is one of the first hotels in the Middle East to implement the state-of-the-art system.
