Caterer Middle East Awards nominations now open

Nominations for the Caterer Middle East Awards 2014 are now open, with entries being accepted via Survey Monkey.

There are 15 categories this year, with the addition of a new category – Restaurateur of the Year – and the absorption of the Bar Manager of the Year title into Bar Team of the Year.

The Restaurateur of the Year award was introduced as part of Caterer’s ongoing mission to involved the wider industry, and recognise the efforts of those individuals in the F&B industry who show innovation with creating themes and/or brands, and have launched them successfully in the Middle East.

"The last year has seen an explosion of sorts in the F&B industry, with a lot of new ideas and concepts coming through. I am looking forward to receiving a higher volume, and finer quality, of entries, especially with the new category we have introduced,” said Caterer Middle East editor Devina Divecha.

"One of the aims of the magazine is to include a wider audience, so I hope to see a greater number of entries from the broader MENA region - Qatar, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and KSA," she added.

Nominations will close at 6pm on Thursday, April 17, after which no more submissions will be accepted.

The sixth Caterer Middle East Awards ceremony will be held in Dubai on June 11 2014 with expectations of it being the biggest event yet.
