Ivan Jovalekic joins Park Regis Kris Kin Dubai

Ivan Jovalekic has joined the team at Park Regis Kris Krin Hotel Dubai as the new senior business development manager.

A Croatian national, Jovalekic attended university in Serbia, graduating with a degree in finance and accounting.

He entered the hospitality industry when he moved to Dubai and joined the Jumeirah Group, looking after global sales, where he gained experience in revenue management and reservations.

In 2006, he joined JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa in its pre-opening phase, where he spent three years and was promoted to leisure sales manager, before moving back to Dubai to join the Dusit Princess City Centre Hotel.

Most recently, Jovalekic worked at Insights Management Consultancy, representing international hotels and tourist boards in the region.

Commenting on Jovalekic's appointment, Park Regis Kris Kin Dubai general manager Scott Butcher said: “At the Park Regis Kris Kin, we aim to achieve a healthy market mix of corporate and leisure business from the GCC, Europe and Asia. Strategic sales promotions, market research, competitor analysis and hotel positioning are all key to success and areas where Ivan's competence will influence positive results for us.”
