The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina is adding China Grill to its existing F&B portfolio, which is scheduled to open in the latter half of 2014.

"We are delighted to be able to include China Grill Restaurant in our award winning dining portfolio”, said The Westin Dubai general manager Tolga Lacin.

“China Grill has pioneered Asian-inspired world cuisine for the past 25 years in New York City, Mexico City and Miami, we’re truly excited to offer this exquisite experience to the Dubai dining and lounging scene."

The original (and still existing) China Grill opened in New York in 1987, and by its fifth anniversary, internationalised its menu while staying true to its Asian roots.

“We are thrilled to be opening our first China Grill restaurant in the Middle East in The Westin Dubai," said China Grill founder and creator Jeffrey Chodorow.

He added: "Aside from the tremendous growth and vibrancy we see in Dubai itself, the sophistication and global nature of the clientele matches perfectly with our global Asian cuisine.

"Add to that the quality of the Westin experience and the people from the Westin and Starwood we get to work with, in particular the hotel general manager Tolga Lacin and his team, and we have a project that is destined to be a smashing success."

China Grill Management and its affiliates produces other dining hotspots such as Asia de Cuba, Red Farm, All’Onda and Blue Door with Claude Troisgros.
