Work begins on Abu Dhabi Marina project

Construction work has begun on a premium waterfront development in Abu Dhabi which will include a five-star hotel with executive serviced apartments.

Bloom Properties, the Abu Dhabi-based property and lifestyle development arm of National Holding LLC, is behind the Abu Dhabi Marina, which will cover 41,797 square metres in Al Bateen.

The five-star hotel will have 200 rooms and 57 executive serviced apartments, while the project will also include 225 residential apartments, ranging from one- to four-bedroom units. In addition to this it will have 3,000 square metres of premium waterfront retail.

“With real estate prospects soaring in the emirate, we are proud to have played an important role in the development of the real estate market in Abu Dhabi,” the company said.

“The rapidly-developing sector will play an increasingly important role in the economic development of the country.”

Bloom Properties, which is participating in Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2014 this week, has contracted Al Shafar General Contracting (ASGC) for Abu Dhabi Marina’s enabling work.
