New general manager at Movenpick Hotel Bahrain

Daniel Kaan has joined the team at Movenpick Hotel Bahrain as the new general manager.

Prior to joining Movenpick Hotel Bahrain, Kaan spent four years at the Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam as director of food and beverage, and more recently as hotel manager.

He has previously worked with InterContinental Hotels Group in Dubai, Nairobi, and Shenzhen, and with the Grand Hyatt in Beijing.

“I’m delighted at the prospect of moving to Bahrain and leading the team at this award-winning hotel," said Kaan. "My encounters in the Kingdom so far have been very friendly and overwhelmingly positive. My family and I look forward to spending time in this beautiful island.”

Kaan takes over from Heinz Krahenbuhl, who has returned to his native Switzerland after five years at the Bahrain hotel.
