Taj Group is to expand its Middle East portfolio later this year with the opening of Taj Dubai, located in the Burj Khalifa downtown area of Dubai.
Set to start welcoming guests in the fourth quarter, the hotel with comprise 296 guestrooms, including the Taj Club rooms that come with a host of benefits, as well as 20 junior and 14 luxury suites.
There will also be two themed suites -The Tata Suite and The Maharaja Suite - occupying the top floors, each with their own private dining, living areas and panoramic views over the downtown area.
According to Taj Group, the hotel will be a "splendid showcase of Dubai’s hospitality and grandeur, blending contemporary elegance with traditional Indian style".
It added that it is focused on expanding its footprints in the Middle East with the launch of Taj Dubai in the region’s economic, financial and tourism hub and is aiming to establish the hotel as the leading luxury hotel for business and leisure in the region.
The hotel will have seven F&B outlets, ranging from Indian to Peruvian dining, offering lunches, afternoon tea, cocktails and sheesha in the evenings, as well as a la carte dinners.
With the opening of the hotel, Taj Group will also introduce its exclusive members’ only business club, ‘Chambers’, for the first time in the international market. Chambers at Taj Dubai will offer facilities and privileges, both essential and extraordinary, for all its members.
For young guests, the hotel will offer the Kids@Taj children’s program, which will provide customised activities and amenities for young ones to enjoy during their holidays.
The hotel will also feature a fitness centre and the Jiva Spa, where guests can avail a range of Jiva’s signature treatments, inspired by traditional Indian therapies.
