Manoli Athanassiou has joined Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai as its new food and beverage manager.
In his new role, the Greek national will lead the overall operations of the hotel’s five dining outlets, including strategic planning, revenue management, budgeting and staff training.
He will also work alongside the marketing team to recommend promotions for the restaurants and will ensure high standards of food quality and presentation to help guarantee guest satisfaction.
“We are thrilled to welcome Manoli to our team,” said Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach general manager Alper Can Bulcum. “His rich experience in the industry will complement the hotel’s first-rate dining offerings and we look forward to incorporating his talents to our current food and beverage program.”
Athanassiou has more than ten years of experience in the food and beverage sector. He has previously worked at Desert Palm Dubai and various Rotana Hotels, where he started as conference and banqueting operations manager and held progressive roles, eventually achieving the post of assistant director of food and beverage.
He began his career in 2002 as a management trainee at Le Meridien Dubai. Athanassiou was educated and held various positions in Lebanon before coming to Dubai.
