Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach will feature 10 F&B concepts, regional vice president and general manager Simon Casson has told Hotelier Middle East.
The resort, which is due to open in Q4 2014, will include five in-house restaurants, while the rest will be operated by external brands.
The restaurant concepts include international restaurant Suq, which will feature live cooking stations. A second restaurant called SeaFu will be located on the beach.
The resort’s lobby cafe – Shai Lounge – will serve tea, coffee, juices and light snacks. Inspired by Middle-Eastern architecture, the lounge will also feature an outdoor terrace.
Hendricks Bar will be designed to reflect the theme of a gentlemen’s club with interiors incorporating oak and leather panels.
The resort will also feature an open-air rooftop concept called Mercury Lounge. Commenting on the concept, Casson said: “To sit there and have unfettered views of the gulf on one side and the whole skyline of Downtown Dubai on the other is really special. It has a very funky, contemporary environment, quite avant-garde decor, some individual wind tower lounges that are available for private rental so really it has a lot to offer.”
The additional five outlets will be run by international brands with an established presence in Dubai, details of which will be revealed once final contracts are signed said Casson.
