The Hotel Show will this year take place from September 28-30, with Hotelier Middle East and Caterer Middle East serving as the event’s Exclusive Official Publications.
Taking place in Dubai at Dubai World Trade Centre, the event is a comprehensive showcase in the Middle East and Africa region, providing a full end to end offering from investment, design and build through to refurbishment, fit out and operations of hotels, restaurants, leisure destinations, and resorts.
Now celebrating 15 years of presenting the supply chain to the hotel industry, the event attracted over 16,700 attendees in 2013.
“As The Hotel Show celebrates its 15th year, Hotelier Middle East and Caterer Middle East are looking forward to supporting the event and the hotel industry, which continues to thrive amid an ever-growing rooms pipeline,” said ITP Business senior group editor hospitality Louise Oakley.
“As the Exclusive Official Publications, Hotelier Middle East and Caterer Middle East will be able to get the inside track on The Hotel Show and provide essential business knowledge for our loyal readership.”
For the first time, this year’s show will feature an International Village dedicated to country pavilions for international brands. Meanwhile, Vision 2014 – the high-level conference that attracts the regions and world’s influencers and thought leaders - will focus on dynamic issues and trends over three days of free events.
There will also be a Career & Training Zone, The Sustainable Build & Architectural Design Feature in addition to a networking programme, product launch stage, buyer’s club lounge and new outdoor and leisure section.
“Whilst we have been at the heart of the industry for 15 years, we also look forward to the dynamic opportunities that the market here has to offer the international supplier base,” said event director Christine Davidson.
“The Hotel Show is now established as not just an exhibition but an annual meeting place for sourcing, networking, and education and it makes sense for us to partner with the leading hospitality publisher for this region to ensure we deliver our show message direct to hospitality decision makers, owners and buyers.
“Remaining one of the fastest growing regions worldwide with forecasts of growth of 3% up to 2016, we focus on being the event that brings real business opportunities to all who participate.”
Dubai’s Expo 2020 is expected to attract in excess of 25m people, and with it the need for over 45,000 new hotel rooms. With just six years until the doors open, The Hotel Show will provide suppliers with an opportunity to get on the supplier’s list for major projects by meeting the key decision makers who are the project developers, hotel owners, contractors and interiors-consultants who attend the event to source new suppliers and research new products.
“The Hotel Show could have a serious impact on an order book - more than US $860m was spent by participants last year with an expected spend of almost US $4bn for the year ahead,” added Davidson.
“The event is located in a healthily growing marketplace and that is about to get significantly bigger with major projects and developments for EXPO 2020 in Dubai, The World Cup 2022 in Qatar, and massive room expansion in Saudi Arabia and Africa.”
