Taj Palace Hotel Dubai has appointed Jenny Fajutag as its new marketing & communications manager.
The Filipino national has spent the past eight years with Jumeirah Group, where she was most recently a marketing & PR communication executive.
Fajutag is a certified Japanese speaker and, as a a keen supporter of community charity groups and school events, will use her skills to promote the Taj Palace Hotel as an active supporter of local events as well as a business and leisure hotel of choice for regional and international visitors.
“While services and operations are essential selling points, the image of the hotel is vital to ensure good publicity and sales, and we are delighted to enlist the skills of Jenny in marketing the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai,” said acting general manager Ahmed Badawy.
Having gained a BSc in International Travel & Tourism Management in the Philippines, Fajutag moved to the UAE to join Jumeirah in 2006.
After an initial period as a restaurant hostess, she moved in to guest relations and customer sales before becoming focused on marketing and PR for both rooms and restaurants, and in particular developing digital marketing skills.
