Wyndham Hotel Group has opened three more hotels in Turkey, bringing its total number of properties in the country to 30.

The latest properties are Wyndham Istanbul Old City, Ramada Usak and Ramada Resort Akbuk. Combined, they have added 740 rooms to the group’s existing 4,500 rooms in the country.

Located in the heart of the old town, Wyndham Istanbul Old City offers 265 guest rooms as well as three food and beverage outlets, an indoor swimming pool and spa complex. It is housed within an historic building, combining traditional architecture with luxury.

The two new Ramada hotels are purpose-built, new-construction properties. Ramada Usak has 124 guest rooms and four meeting rooms while Ramada Resort Akbuk offers 364 guest rooms and suites, a swimming pool complex with water slides, spa, fitness area and access to a private beach.

“I’m thrilled to maintain our rapid expansion in Turkey, which is a strategic growth market for us,” said Rui Barros, Wyndham Hotel Group’s senior vice president and managing director, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Indian Ocean. “We look forward to continuing meaningful relationships with both developers and consumers, who are more and more recognising the value of our powerful global brands.”

In Turkey, Wyndham Hotel Group’s portfolio is now made up of four Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, two TRYP by Wyndham and 24 Ramada properties.
