Tourism and hotel management students are to get the opportunity to receive training at two Dead Sea hotels as part of an agreement between operator IHG and Yarmouk University.
Students will be enrolled into a training program for three months at various departments at both Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa and Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea
At the end of their internship program, the students will receive a certificate, and will be given priority when recruiting new employees at both Dead Sea resorts.
“The youth are our most important asset; therefore, it is of utmost importance to us to make sure that they get the best education that is not only theoretical, but also practical,” said Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa and Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea area general manager Firas Irsheidat.
“That is why we are offering those students the chance to be exposed to the real world of hospitality, and help them build a career in that field.”
During their internships, the students will learn and develop many skills and expand their knowledge in the hospitality industry, according to the agreement.
