VIDEO: The vision for Mall of the World in Dubai

Set to house the world’s largest shopping mall and indoor theme part, Mall of the World is set to provide Dubai with another landmark.

Being developed by Dubai Holding, it will cover 48 million square feet and will feature 100 hotels and serviced apartment buildings, with 20,000 hotel rooms.

While this video may just show a model of the development, it nevertheless sets out the ambitious scale of the project – and the opportunity that lies in wait for hotel operators.
