SIAL Middle East will return for its 5th and the largest edition from 24-26 November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, with a new feature at the food & beverage exhibition dedicated to the manufacturing process, and a host of new exhibitors.
The exhibition is expected to feature more than 1000 exhibitors from over 50 countries and aims to attract 15000+ dedicated trade visitors from the industry.
Following last year’s 37% year-on-year increase in number of visitors, organisers of SIAL Middle East hope to continue this trend with the 2014 edition.
There will be more than 20 national pavilions at the event this year, including many exhibitors who will be present for the first time.
SIAL Middle East managing director Joanne Cook said: “Almost 65% of the exhibitors at SIAL Middle East 2014 are new to the region to access this important market.
“The SIAL Group focuses on innovation and having such a high percentage of new-comers to the Middle East reinforces our mission to encourage food evolution”.
A new feature being introduced this year is co-locate Middle East Pack, a dedicated event featuring packaging, processing, ingredients, printing and handling industries companies for the Food & Beverage sector.
The three-day event will also feature a buyer program, La Cuisine by SIAL international chef competition, and the SIAL Innovation Area, showcasing new food and beverage products.
SIAL Middle East is held in strategic partnership with Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA).
The event is part of SIAL Group, the world’s largest network of professional B2B food exhibitions which include SIAL Paris, SIAL China, SIAL Canada, SIAL Asean and SIAL Brazil.
