Three UAE water parks ranked in world's top 25

Wild Wadi Water Park and Aquaventure Waterpark in Dubai, as well as Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, have been named among the top 25 water parks in the world by Tripadvisor.

They were among the winners in the travel site’s Travelers' Choice awards for amusement parks and water parks around the world.

Named last week, the winners were determined using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews for amusement parks and water parks worldwide, gathered over a 12-month period.

Wild Wadi ranked sixth in the list while Aquaventure Waterpark was eighth. Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi was ranked 22nd.

Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida was named the number one water park in the world and Aqua Blue Water Park in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt also made it into the list at number 17.

Tripadvisor also produced a top ten for the best water parks in the Middle East, while no amusement parks in the region was included in the list.
