Dubai-based Auris Group of Hotels has revealed plans to open six new properties between 2015 and 2017, five of which will be located in Dubai, and one in Africa, marking the company’s first property outside of the Middle East region.
This year, the company signed Auris Inn Assma Hotel, a 240-room property to open in Al Barsha, and Auris Inn Muhanna Hotel, which will bring 145 rooms and suites to Tecom. Both properties are expected to be in the four-star category.
Additionally, Auris has signed the mid-scale 250-key Auris Lodge Al Furjan and Imperial Residences by Auris, a 514-hotel apartment complex to open in Jumeirah Village Circle.
The 115-key Auris Burj Al Noor Khartoum Sudan will be the group’s first property outside of the Middle East.
Additionally, the group will undergo a rebranding process to “reinforce” market-awareness of the group and its distinct brands.
Hatem Gasmi, Auris Group of Hotels' founder & managing director, commented: “Our growth has necessitated an ongoing improvement process which has seen us split the brand into four categories.
“Auris Plaza Luxury Hotels will encompass five-star properties; Auris Inn will brand four-star hotels, and three-star budget hotels will be grouped under Auris Lodge. Auris Apart will represent our hotel apartments and serviced residences.”
Auris Group of hotels currently has six operating properties across Dubai and Saudi Arabia. It is the company’s vision to be present in 15 countries by 2020, with plans mapped out for Jordan, Qatar, Sudan, Tunisia and France.
