In a dramatic turnaround over the past year, demand for hotel rooms has surged in Iran, with many crediting the impact of President Hassan Rouhani.

CNN’s Marketplace Middle East recently featured a segment analysing the phenomenon and asking whether the country needs more hotels.

It spoke to hoteliers in the capital Tehran, a city of 12 million which has only three five-star hotels.
