Ramada Downtown raises funds for cancer patients

Ramada Downtown Dubai organised its first fundraising activity to support cancer patients in the UAE.

The team raised more than AED5000 selling shirts with a Fight for Cancer message to raise funds for UAE charity Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP).

Ramada Downtown Dubai general manager Samir Arora said: “We would like to express our gratitude to our guests, associates, and partners, for their continuous support to this year-long campaign.

"Our team was very privileged to be given an opportunity to help FOCP and we aim to strengthen our ties with the organisation so we can reach out to more patients.”

Friends of Cancer Patients is a volunteer-based charity which provides financial and moral aid to cancer patients and their friends.

Ramada Downtown Dubai’s previous activities for FOCP included complimentary stays for patients and arranging tours of attractions in the Downtown Dubai area.
