Qatar Airways' most popular route, between Doha and Dubai, is to be boosted with 14 more flights a week.
The airline has confirmed that, effective October 26, there will be additional daily flights to Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central Al Maktoum International Airport, taking its frequency to 14-flights-per-day to DXB and 4-flights-per-day to DWC.
Doha to Dubai International has the highest frequency in Qatar Airways’ route network and is currently served 91 times a week. That will now rise to 98 flights a week.
Dubai World World Central will now be served 28 times a week, up from 21.
Qatar Airways group chief executive officer His Excellency Akbar Al Baker said: “We are dedicated to increasing our presence in key markets like the UAE and adding capacity on one of our most popular routes like Dubai demonstrates this commitment.
“As one of our closest neighbours in the Gulf, it is of key importance to offer excellent and frequent air travel connections to the UAE, and the increase in capacity will offer our passengers an even wider variety of options when they are looking to reach their final destinations.”
The additional daily flight to Dubai International will depart at 10:00am, arriving at 12:10pm and the return flight will leave at 1:30pm, arriving in Doha at 1:35pm.
To Dubai World Central, the fourth daily flight will depart at 1:30am, arriving at 3:40am and the return flight will leave Dubai at 6:25am, arriving in Doha at 6:30am.
The 14 daily flights will depart from DOH on the hour and from DXB on the half hour, giving travellers flexibility with their plans.
