Habtoor Grand appoints assistant F&B manager

Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa has appointed Neels Bornman as its new assistant food and beverage manager.

Bornman has more than seven years' experience in the hospitality industry and has worked with leading brands in a number of countries around the world.

Prior to his appointment, he was assistant F&B manager at the Amanyara (Aman Resorts), located in the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean, and has also completed stints with One & Only Royal Mirage Dubai, Sun City Resort in South Africa, and Compass International in Qatar.

The South African national's areas of expertise include guest relations, marketing and promotions, hiring and training staff, monitoring inventory, budgeting, event management and quality control.

Commenting on his new role, Bornman said: “I’m excited to be a part of one of the biggest names in the hospitality industry. The beach resort here has some amazing F&B outlets and I am keen to play a vital role in ensuring every one delivers the best guest experience possible.”
