Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach has appointed two new members to its executive team.
Khaled Bani Amer joins the hotel as director of human resources.
He has previously worked in the front of house department for three years and the learning and development sector for five years.
The Jordanian national began his hospitality career with IHG in Jordan. He then moved to Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts to join the front office team at Mövenpick Resort Petra before joining the learning and development department for five years.
He then worked at Mövenpick Hotel Sanaa in Yemen as human resource manager before spending five years at Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Yanbu in Saudi Arabia.
Commenting on his new role, Khaled Amer said: “I will manage an international team comprising employees over different nationalities. My main focus will be on maintaining high levels of staff satisfaction and effective management of all employee related matters within the property.”
Sukhwinder Singh has joined Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach as director of revenue.
Singh began his career with Le Meridien New Delhi, and stayed with Starwood Hotels & Resorts for eight years. He then joined the pre-opening team at Fujairah Rotana Resort and Towers Rotana Dubai, before moving to Taj Hotels & Resorts.
Prior to joining Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach, Singh was with Millennium & Copthorne hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Commenting on his appointment, Singh said: “I am so thrilled to join Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach and I will be responsible to maximize the revenue management for room and non-room targets, the pricing analytics and the distribution channels.”
